KULTURNI PROGRAM

Kulturni Program release a further module of their lifework!!
The fifth album is a lounge-café-bar work in the style of a compilation. Where others make standard sounds and release production lines with no attitude, Kulturni Program draw on a nearly 10 year creative phase. Every song sounds different and is mirroring the creatively opulence of the 20 years of the persisting musicians who stand behind Kulturni Program.
Different genres and variety shine through the album and were done with a lot of handicraft. Value was placed on homogeneity and audibility. More than 15 years of touring and DJ-ing in clubs and bars all over europe makes it possible. Decent and laconic should be the new album to serve an atmosphere who invites you to listen casually but everywhere. The goal was a fun lounge album for happiness moments or just for daily routine.

Hotel Costes (Stephane Pompougnac) hits moderate Beastie Boys which philosophize over the next Tarantino movie at a fancy coffee bar!

This album is another milestone in the lifework of Kulturni Program who sail around the mainstream to create unique music.

Masked horrible extreme raping guys from mexiko wrestling-mania street gangs. Hard to explain but rocking beat electronica with a death smell guitar influences. Both, wrestling amateurs and music producers with a long experience playing all kinds of music now formed a new way of presenting and acting music which is mostly ununique then to other acts in electronic music. Pepe Machete & Koko Diabolo are their names. No taste and no compromises are the guarantee for easy arrangement and no single formats, only fun and stupid sounds combined with death smelling guitars are the trademarks of this cool duo. Easy to listen – but hard to understand. Keep yours brains together to understand this music.
Working on the first debut album without stress will keep us surprising when it´s finished. Release date unknown – but we think in 2015 the madness will start with an online release.

For over a decade our man behind the turntables has been touring the international club-circuit. As a creative electronic musician, he can look back on a string of releases on various labels. Now Berlin´s own Kassi Wolf takes off again this time under the pseudonym Electric Airline. The sounds of Electric Airline resonate somewhere between „Rock Junk, Electro Funk and Glam Punk“ or, as the mighty Airline rephrases: „It's Electrobeat, Baby“. You may call the sound Electro, Punk, Independent Pop or just Rock'n'Roll It's up to you. For the first release Electric Airline All-Star Kassi teamed-up with the notorious sonic nomad Qosmo.org, former front man of Berlin's trash-rock heroes „The Adam West Experience“. Besides rocking the clubs Qosmo.org does not shy away from delving deep into the abyss of so called serious music: In 2004 he composed the music for Walter Bickmanns choreographic installation titled „Die Stiefel des J.R.“ performed at the „Festivals Reservoir“ in Berlin. But of course it's still up for guesses what „serious“ really means.

Tokyo cosmonauts is one of the latest sounds to come from Paris' music scene. Behind the anonymous tag of tokyo cosmonauts, it's Arnaud Leroy. His approach comes more from the background of a musician than that of a DJ. The taste in exotica, 60's american soft rock, 60's french pop, B-movies, video games and moog records speaks loud and clear. While his current approach relies heavily on electronics, he started off more traditionally back in the early 90's as a guitar player and singer. Gradually, his interest turned more to DJ'ing with robotic bleeps, quirky breakbeats, and just the right amount of low-slung funk. The first record was a four-track EP released in 2001 and titled "dub in japan - ep". It was a cut-and-paste romp through breakbeats, film scores, and numerous other aural oddities.

With sunny breakbeats as their trademark, Stereo de Luxe have been touring around a lot, rocking dancefloors from Europe to the USA. Freestyle is probably the best way to describe Stereo de Luxes dj-sets. But this oh-so-simple word doesn´t quite capture the spirit of all the sounds Stereo de Luxe spins with elegant discipline and thoughtless charm. Combining funky breakbeats with smash-house and a smattering of sixties references, Stereo de Luxe can make for a perfect pop-machinery, only to accelerate and push the bassline far beyond any speed-limit, boiling all types of obscure dance-tracks, absurd samples, fat beats and strange breaks down to a kind of hot musical gumbo, always stylish, yet never falling prey to the definitional limits of any one genre.
